As we head into a much anticipated 3 day weekend, let us remember why we have it:

This day is to honor the men and women who gave their lives for our country. It is a day to remember their sacrifice and with gratitude and pride, reflect on what they have given to us, that which was paid for with their lives.

It is not a day for those still living and serving nor for those who proudly and bravely served in the past. Please do not wish them a Happy Memorial Day. Monday is for their fallen brothers and sisters.

Enjoy the day, BBQ’s are great, but please take the time to be remember what and who it is all about.

I, for one, am so incredibly thankful. God Bless those who have died for our freedom, God Bless their families, and God Bless America.
