The San Diego based burger chain opened it’s newest location in the Trader Joe’s shopping center on Winchester Rd and took residence in the previously owned Starbucks building. While the parking in that center can be a nightmare, your bubbling frustration can be quelled with the anticipation of eating at this new restaurant known for it’s sleek decor and grass-fed burgers. Vegetarians have no need for fear as they also have a vegetarian friendly option (I’m told it is delicious). There are a total of 6 different burger options that include: grass-fed beef, free-range turkey, organic veggie patty, grass-fed bison, and longline caught albacore.
In addition to the succulent burgers, there are a few more entrees that you can enjoy. There are two types of truly, healthy salads: the fresh vegetable salad and the romaine-kale salad. Both are lightly tossed with house made dressing and can be topped with any of the meat or vegetarian options. The various other delectable sides include fresh-cut house-made french fries and onion rings, house-made desserts, and ice cream shakes and floats. To quench your thirst you can order the Batch craft sodas, organic brewed iced tea, lavender mint lemonade, bottled soda, Pellegrino and solar rain water. Besides the long list of nonalcoholic beverages, there is a selection of premium beers and wines.
Whether this is an old favorite or somewhere new to add a kick to your usual restaurant routine, the Burger Lounge in Temecula is definitely worth maneuvering the hectic parking lot for.
